Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Primary Care & Urgent Care

$60–$80 per hour + full benefits
Outpatient only – No call or hospital rounds

KidsWatch Pediatrics & Urgent Care is seeking a bilingual Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing pediatric practice providing both primary care and urgent care services seven days a week.
Our mission is to make pediatric healthcare more accessible for working families by offering primary care visits and urgent care in one convenient location.
Compensation:
$60 – $75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a primary schedule focused on evening and weekend coverage.
Expected Provider Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This schedule supports our mission of providing accessible pediatric care for working families, including after-school and weekend availability when families need care the most.
Typical patient volume:
Approximately 2–4 patients per hour depending on season and visit type.
Work Environment:
- Outpatient pediatric practice.
- No hospital rounds.
- No on-call requirements.
- Combination of primary care and urgent care medicine.
- Supported by experienced medical assistants and administrative staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pediatric primary care and urgent care services.
- Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and minor injuries.
- Conduct well-child exams and preventive care visits.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
- Perform minor procedures when appropriate.
- Educate parents and caregivers on treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff.
- Help families understand the KidsWatch model of accessible pediatric care.
Qualifications
Required:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Board Certified (PNP, FNP, or PA-C).
- Bilingual (preferred).
- Pediatric Primary Care experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
